Ajuwaya

In Personal, Portraiture

First of all, congratulations to all the 2013 Batch C Youth Corps Members who are passing out tomorrow. Wish you best of Luck in the coming future.

We were approached by some Batch C Corp Members to create Military/ Militia themed images that they can use for their NYSC Project . Corpers Connect  – An online itinerary preparing Graduates for their service year and logs their achievement Service. Needless to say, we had too much fun during this shoot. I actually enjoyed messing up their faces

Incase you were wondering . . . AJUWAYA – (means ‘As you were’ ) one of the many names of a Corps Member (Nigerian Youth) is given during Service year.  Some other names include “Kopa/Copa/Corper” (all the same thing, but ‘we’ spell them differently) Another is Otondo? Yes, OTONDO! That’s a favourite name people call Corps Members. Sometimes they are called right from camp. It shows they are fresh graduates, novices in regards to military acquaintance on camp aka bloody civilians.
